Chances are we’re on our way to becoming friends. I love the people I photograph and I naturally see the beauty within them.

I am a foodie, and a bit of a coffee junkie, who loves to listen to Indie music and shop for pretty things. I absolutely adore animals, and I’m secretly wishing you’ll bring your dog (and your cat) to your photo shoot.

I was born in Pittsburgh and moved to Florida when I was five, where I grew up enjoying the sunshine and the beaches. I moved to Washington, DC in 2006 immediately following my own wedding and it has felt like home ever since.

I first became passionate about photography in high school and since then I’ve had a deep love for timeless black and white portraits. I was constantly shooting and working in the darkroom. During my senior year of high school, one of my photos was selected to hang in a Smithsonian.

I went to college at Florida State University on a photography scholarship, and after graduating I continued my education at the esteemed Washington School of Photography. With those days behind me, I have over 12 years of experience, and the skills I learned are simply second nature to me now. Let’s connect and create some gorgeous photos together!

ASPCA works to save animals from dogfighting, puppy mills, hoarding and other cruelty situations. They provide medical care, behavioral rehabilitation, and help thousands of animals find loving homes every year. They respond to emergencies when disaster strikes, and fight for stronger laws to protect animals.
